Great at keeping an electric door lock operating.
I have a electronic door lock on a steel building. I got tired of always replacing batteries. I got this solar panel and mounted it on the west facing door just above the lock. Wired the panel to the batteries. I put in marginal rechargeable batteries for a good test. First day was weak. Since then, for several months, the lock has been working great. Good solar solution to a simple problem.
